This is a conversation course in which kids use conversation topics and worksheets to assist them to improve their conversation abilities. For example, the topics presented by the teacher could be about pets & animals, games, camping, or general English topics that are interesting to kids, for example. In this process the children are asked a variety of questions related to the specific topic. The lessons are designed to get the students thinking and speaking cognitively in the classroom. In addition, students play English games, watch English television programs, take quizzes, role-play actions and get involved in performance based lessons - designed to instill confidence, inspire creativity, and, stimulate learning. All lessons use the latest teaching methods such as “Thinking Centered Learning” and “Performance Based Learning” (please see the “About Us” page to learn more about these methods).

    This course is designed for lower level kids who may need to improve speaking, listening, reading and writing skills for higher levels of English. Various resources are used in the classroom in order to maximize the student’s current English abilities. For example, students will practice listening, phonics and pronunciation using computers and get involved in cognitive based lessons that will assist the students in speaking grammatically correct sentences. In short, students will learn English using the latest technological advances, such as computers, talking dictionaries, cassette recorders, TV’s and DVD players, flashcards, overhead projectors, specially designed worksheets, textbooks and readers.
