English Conversation Course - Topic Based Learning (TBL)

Our Topic Based Learning course (TBL) is 100% conversation using interesting topics to stimulate students into learning. No textbooks are used in this class however students are required to maintain a dictionary notebook. Vocabularies are the building blocks to strong and creative sentences; as such conversation ability is improved as a result of an extensive vocabulary. In short, the course is designed to assist students to learn general conversation by using various topics that essentially guide students confidently through the discussion process.

Overseas Preparation Course (OPC) (IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL)

In this course (OPC) students work closely together with the foreign teacher to improve speaking, listening, reading, writing, and grammar. More specifically, students will practice doing sample tests and then have the opportunity to get involved in group conversation to discuss mistakes made on the test. In this way students improve on problem areas of English and are better prepared for actual tests. This course is offered both privately and in group classes.

General English Course (GEC)

This course (EPC) is designed for students whose English abilities are at a lower intermediate level. Speaking, listening, reading, writing, and grammar are used in this course to prepare students for higher levels of English, more specifically, for students who haven’t practiced English for a long period of time and want to advance to higher levels. A specially chosen textbook is used to assist students with sentence structure or syntax. Basic conversation is taught using a variety of topics that are interesting to the learner. Story books are also used to enhance vocabulary and comprehension.
